If you have a
problem, it's
natural to try things you've read in books or magazines and
suggestions your friends or other people on the yard have made - that's
human nature and we've all done it.
Unfortunately these ideas often cause more problems than they solve,
making your horse more confused, you more irritated and Steve's job
more difficult when you do eventually call him out. The one thing that
his clients say most frequently is
that they wished they'd "called him out sooner", it's so simple.
If you think you have
come up
with the solution to your problem why not phone Steve before
trying it just to ask his opinion? It will only cost you
the price of a call and he'll either say that he thinks the solution
will work or that he thinks it's a bad idea and will give you his
reasons.
